February 2026 This is the time to organize your gear. Clean your gear out and clean it. Restock your fly boxes. Tie the flies you need. Practice your knots. I also like to take the time to go to some of the fly fishing shows. At these shows, I enjoy taking the time to check out new gear. It is a good time to find what does and doesn’t work for you. These shows are great for networking. I often talk to guides and professional tyers for insights. A great example of this was go
